Missions

Arcade Church has 33 missions partners that serve in local and global fields. Our goal is simple: to creatively fulfill the Great Commission.

Local:

Locally, we are involved with the Arab American Learning Center, Alternatives Crisis Pregnancy Center, Law Enforcement Chaplaincy, Union Gospel Mission, Del Norte Swim and Tennis Club, and the Sacramento Food Bank.

Kairos: A course that seeks to train people interested in becoming global Christian missionaries.

International:

We have four main areas of focus:

- International Students studying at the 14 college/university campus in the region

 - Impoverished children in the slums of Sao Paulo, Brazil

- Church building in Romania

- Poor children living in inner city Los Angeles

There are less extensive initiatives that we are also involved in. For example: we help medically and socially in Cambodia, fund needs of trafficked women in Jordan, train pastors in India and Quebec, do adventure sports in Ukraine, operate 60 plus gospel choirs in Japan, plus many more.

We also sponsor short-term mission trips each summer.

Getting Involved:

We have a monthly lunch featuring a missional speaker on the first Monday of the month in our Fellowship Hall -  YOU are invited to attend the free lunch

Additionally, there is a sewing group that makes custom pieces for missions around the world.

Missions Alive: Prayer and encouragement is vital to sustain any missional effort. This is accomplished via groups called Missions Alive. We also have a regular prayer announcement that goes out each week with news and prayer needs of our missional partners.
