Biblical Counseling
The mission of Arcade Church is to help as many people as possible hear, see, and follow Jesus. To that end, the Arcade Church Biblical Counseling Center offers free of charge counseling, based upon the sufficient, infallible Word of God to the members of our church and our community. Our counselors are certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) or have been trained by ACBC certified counselors to minister the principles of Scripture to effectively communicate salvation, cultivate sanctification, comfort the suffering, and confront sin. Our counselors have a combined 40 years of experience and offer both in-person counseling and zoom sessions for those who need a remote option. The Arcade Church Biblical Counseling Center is an ACBC certified training center that offers education and mentorship to those interested in becoming a biblical counselor. We rely solely upon the principles of Scripture as it provides all that is necessary for God’s people to live according to the his will and ways.
We offer a three-phase program consisting of:
Fundamentals - four two-hour classes that provide instruction on the supremacy of biblical counseling over other counseling methods, the root cause of sin, our identity in Jesus Christ, and the process of change.
Biblical Counseling Class - a nine-month class designed to help those interested in becoming ACBC certified biblical counselors to successfully take the ACBC certification exams. This class includes the Fundamentals.
Specialties - four two-hour classes designed to instruct counselors on how to help people involved in LGBT, domestic violence, self-harm, and suicidal ideation situations.

Biblical Counseling Class
The ACBC Biblical Counseling Fundamentals Class and Exam Prep Class is a nine month long class during which Pastor Craig Hardinger and Suzzanne Bonn (both certified by ACBC) will teach students how to biblically communicate salvation, cultivate sanctification, comfort the suffering, and confront sin. It is approved by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) and will result in the Fundamentals Certificate for those students who attend at least 95% of classes. This certificate may be put towards completion of Phase 1 of ACBC certification, and will benefit those who wish to take the Phase 2 Theology Exam and Counseling Exam concurrently.
Class begins Tuesday, September 2 at 6:30pm.
