GRIEF SHARE

Though our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has conquered death, we still face its reality when we lose loved ones. We grieve those losses which can often result in loneliness, regret, guilt, and even depression.

Grief Share is a network of international grief recovery support groups that help those grieving navigate the challenging road from mourning to joy. It follows a 13-week course using video sessions of experts, followed by a discussion of each session’s topic, and reinforced by self-study of scriptural truths that help participants apply to their own lives the concepts they are learning.

Grief Share is open to all ages (from young adults through seniors) who are seeking comfort, answers, and hope. Individuals may join at any session in the series and may repeat the support group as many times as they feel necessary for their emotional and spiritual stability and growth. The only charge is a one-time fee of $20 to cover the cost of the workbook.

Groups happen in the Spring and Fall each year. Click the button below to register.

For additional information, you may call the church office at (916) 972-1617.

This is a 2-hour Grief Share support group designed to encourage and instruct those who have recently lost a spouse. Facing the challenges of being widowed not only brings a unique pain, but a complete change in lifestyle. Those realities will be addressed through a video and a discussion following it. A complimentary brunch will be provided. The cost of the practical and recently expanded workbook for the event is $10.

You will be sent an email confirmation and directions to our room after registering. If you would like to have a guest accompany you, please register them on their behalf (to assist with seating and nametags).
